Collé Rental & Sales in Denmark seeks an accurate Assistant Controller to manage the complete financial administration for multiple Danish entities and support annual financial statements. The role requires hands-on, analytical work and close collaboration with branches in Denmark and the Finance Team at headquarters in the Netherlands.

The candidate will handle monthly journal entries, VAT, payroll, and month-/year-end closes, ensuring timely escalation to headquarters when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting and financial administration.
• Experience with monthly reporting to foreign parent.
• Proficiency in Danish accounting standards and tax legislation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial administration for multiple entities, including lease and fixed assets.
• Develop, prepare, and analyze financial reports.
• Manage Danish payroll administration.
• Post monthly journal entries and provisions.
• Perform month-end, half-year, and year-end closes.
• Prepare annual financial statements.
• File VAT returns and statutory reports.
• Process intercompany transactions and revaluations.
• Support continuous improvements in financial processes.
• Coordinate remotely with HQ Controller.
