Job summary

Cookie Information, Piwik PRO, and Sheltr are leading SaaS brands focusing on privacy-first compliance and analytics. We’re seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel to support EU and US deals across privacy, contracts and cybersecurity, reporting to the General Counsel.

You’ll negotiate customer contracts, advise product teams on data protection, and help scale a growing legal function across multiple jurisdictions; hybrid/remote options available within CET time zones and US East Coast.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience with commercial contracts, gained in-house or at a law firm.
• Understanding of B2B contracting and an interest in SaaS or technology businesses.
• Working knowledge of GDPR and privacy law in a commercial context.
• Clear communication and pragmatic judgement when working with Sales on live deals.
• Fluency in English (C2).

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate customer contracts for EU and US customers.
• Support partner, reseller and supplier agreements, and regulatory terms such as DORA.
• Collaborate with Sales to achieve commercial goals while managing legal risks.
• Advise Product teams on privacy and data protection to reflect real-world practices.
