Job summary

Intuitive Surgical is seeking a Genesis I&A Consultant to provide onsite and remote consulting and education to implement and sustain best practices for Intuitive medical technology and instruments. You will work with hospital stakeholders and internal teams to ensure successful da Vinci and Ion program launches and optimization.

The role requires deep knowledge of reprocessing regulations (ISO, MDR), 5+ years in healthcare, excellent communication, and ability to travel up to 70% overnight.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. degree preferred or equivalent biomedical training
• 5+ years of documented professional experience in healthcare/hospital management
• National Certification preferred according to regional requirements
• Detailed knowledge of regulations, standards, and guidance in reprocessing of reusable medical devices (ISO, MDR etc.)
• Experience with complex medical devices and strong mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote consulting and educational initiatives to implement and maintain Intuitive medical technology best practices
• Manage assigned territory and schedule independently
• Deliver staff training and program readiness assessments
• Collaborate with hospital stakeholders and internal teams to develop customized solutions
• Track progress and communicate status to customers on defined schedules
• Report customer complaints to internal stakeholders and assist in remediation efforts
• Travel up to 70% overnight as required
• Act as a Medical Device Consultant in Austria and Germany after training
