Job summary

JYSK is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead AI initiatives end-to-end, from model development to deployment at scale. The role spans both classical ML and generative AI, with production ownership and cloud-based execution.

You will collaborate with a diverse AI team, contributing to architecture, pipelines and operations while advancing JYSK's strategic AI priorities across the business.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related science field; PhD is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience designing, building and running AI solutions in production.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS or Azure); stack runs on GCP.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy and scale AI applications and the accompanying MLOps pipelines.
• Use and adapt existing large language models, including fine-tuning and post-training.
• Research and experiment with models from classical ML to state of the art.
• Develop custom models where off-the-shelf solutions fall short.
• Run AI workloads on Google Cloud Platform using Cloud Run, GPUs and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with architects and data/platform engineers on complex projects.
• Support users with a ownership mindset.
