Job summary

Trackunit seeks a Data Engineer for the Data Products team to design and operate pipelines and datasets that power analytics and future ML products. You will work closely with data scientists and engineers in a small team, taking ownership and shipping reliable data solutions that become core to customer insights.

You’ll utilize Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake on cloud platforms, building maintainable pipelines, ensuring data quality, and enabling model deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, and operating production data pipelines with SQL, Python, and data modelling.
• Databricks expertise with Spark and Delta Lake for analytics-ready datasets.
• Treat data quality as part of the product with automated validation, monitoring, and alerting.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and orchestration tools.
• Maintainable pipelines using testing, CI/CD, and clear documentation.
• Experience collaborating with data scientists and preparing datasets for exploration and modeling.
• Interest in integrating external APIs and geospatial/time-series data.

Responsibilities
