Job summary

Trackunit is seeking a Data Engineer to design and operate production data pipelines that underpin analytics and future ML products. You will work in our Data Products team, partnering with data scientists and engineers in our Data Foundation team to ship reliable datasets.

You will build pipelines with SQL, Python, and Spark/Delta Lake, focusing on data quality, reliability, and maintainability in a cloud environment. Remote-friendly roles welcome with global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Design and operate production data pipelines, with SQL, Python, and data modelling.
• Nice-to-have Databricks expertise and Spark/Delta Lake experience.
• Treat data quality as a product with automated validation and monitoring.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and orchestration tools; CI/CD mindset.
• Ability to handle evolving schemas, testing, and clear documentation.
• Familiarity with data for analytics and machine learning prep.
• Collaboration with data scientists and cross-team stakeholders.
• Interest in geospatial or time-series data is a plus.

Responsibilities
