Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Regional Head Europe - People Operations to lead the regional People Advisory Services team, delivering high-quality HR support across diverse employee groups. The role requires 12-15 years in HR services, leadership in a large international organisation, and a proven ability to drive implementation

As a Regional Head Europe- People Operations, you will hold regional responsibility for delivering professional, high-quality and integrated HR support across diverse employee groups and cultures. You will lead the regional People Advisory Services team, strengthen employee experience, translate the global HR service delivery model into effective regional execution, and drive continuous improvement through strong stakeholder partnership, disciplined service management and capability building.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently drive and deliver high-quality, integrated HR services across the region to strengthen employee experience.
• Provide leadership to the regional People Advisory Services team, creating an environment where colleagues are engaged, proud of their work and connected to a clear sense of purpose.
• Ensure implementation and ongoing effectiveness of the regional People Advisory Services structure in line with agreed timelines and resource plans.
• Translate the global HR service delivery model into a regional, brand-agnostic implementation and resource plan.
• Review the impact of changes in global processes and new Centre of Expertise initiatives, and implement required regional changes in close collaboration with relevant delivery leaders.
• Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to drive aligned employee experience and continuous improvement.
• Promote best-practice sharing and contribute to the development of service performance measures with global peers.
• Continually review regional service delivery processes, capabilities and resource levels in line with business demand, operating-model maturity and technology adoption.

We’re looking for

• 12-15 years of experience creating and delivering a range of high-quality business services, preferably including HR services.
• HR generalist background in a large international organisation, including HR operations experience; shared-services experience is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with a strong focus on team engagement, capability building and change.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and executive presence with business leaders and senior stakeholders.
• Strong employee‑experience and customer‑service orientation.
• Process and continuous‑improvement mindset, with a focus on high-quality and efficient service delivery.
• Ability to translate global operating models into practical regional plans and execution.
• Collaborative working style that fosters cooperation and teamwork across functions, brands and locations.
• High accountability, pace and attention to delivery commitments.
