Job summary

Hotel Hans Egede Group invites a dedicated night porter to join our team. You will manage guest check-ins and check-outs, support night shift operations, and handle light office tasks and accounting duties while ensuring a calm reception environment throughout the night.

You bring at least 2 years of relevant experience, strong Danish and English, and IT skills. Greenlandic is a plus. Accommodation and travel considerations may be provided.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar night porter role.
• Fluent in Danish and English; Greenlandic preferred.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with hotel systems (Spectra).
• At least 25 years old.

Responsibilities

Tasks as a night porter:

• Checking in and out of guests
• Preparation for shift changes, including light office work and accounting tasks
• Ensure peace and order at the reception during night hours

About you:

The position as a night porter offers lots of exciting challenges.

You will have a completely central and independent role at the hotel during the night and morning hours, where you will contribute to ensuring that our guests have a good experience.

• You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• You have a good knowledge of Danish, English and preferably Greenlandic.
• You have a flair for IT & hotel systems, preferably Spectra.
• You are at least 25 years old.

You are a true night owl who has no problem sleeping during the day and working at night. Hotel experience is of course a plus, but not necessary. You are committed, smiling and approachable towards guests as well as colleagues. Salary according to qualifications and experience. Furnished accommodation can be made available according to current regulations. Travel expenses will be provided in connection with joining.
