Siemens Gamesa is seeking an experienced Bearing Engineer for our Onshore Bearings team. You will lead root cause analyses of failed wind turbine bearings, perform hands-on inspections, and collaborate with global colleagues to drive reliability improvements.

The role emphasizes documenting findings, building technical reports, and presenting recommendations to customers and suppliers. Flexible, remote work is available within an international team spanning Denmark, Germany, Spain, and India.

Qualifications

• Experience in root cause analysis of mechanical components.
• Ability to analyze bearings design, calculations and field performance.
• Strong skills in structuring and documenting technical analyses and findings.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders to influence decisions.
• Hands-on inspection and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct RCA on failed wind turbine bearings and identify failure modes.
• Perform hands-on visual and metallurgical inspections of bearings.
• Analyze operation data and maintenance history to support investigations.
• Develop detailed technical reports for internal/external stakeholders.
• Present RCA findings and recommendations to customers and suppliers.
