Job summary

Danfoss in Denmark is seeking a hands-on QEHS Engineer to strengthen our Make-to-Order district heating operations. You will work on the shop floor with production teams, driving improvements in quality, environment, health and safety, and supporting cross-functional change initiatives.

In this role you will analyze data, resolve issues, lead audits, and maintain QEHS documentation to ensure compliance and sustained performance. We value collaboration and practical problem solving.

Qualifications

We are looking for a QEHS Engineer with a strong practical approach to join the heart of our Make-to-Order district heating operations.

In this crucial role, you will work side-by-side with our production teams on the shop floor, collaborating across functions to improve processes, resolve issues, and deliver excellent results.

You will be empowered to turn data and observations into tangible improvements that directly enhance our operational performance.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead operational activities related to Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety, ensuring our high standards are consistently met
  • Manage non-conformities and incidents, conducting root cause analysis to implement effective corrective and preventive actions
  • Actively collaborate with production and engineering teams to promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments to proactively identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance
  • Maintain and optimize the QEHS management system documentation and procedures, ensuring they remain current and effective
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, engineering, construction, or project-based environments where you developed a hands-on approach
  • Solid knowledge of problem-solving tools and root cause analysis
  • A strong understanding of quality and safety management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn data and observations into practical solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
