Job summary

Danfoss in Silkeborg is seeking a production engineer to own and optimize the highly automated hot stamping area within our valve manufacturing. You will ensure production runs safely, reliably, and with quality, combining hands-on problem solving with process improvements to support continuous growth.

You will work closely with a skilled team to reduce downtime, strengthen quality via APQP/PFMEA/control plans, and implement new tooling for smooth integration into existing lines.

Qualifications

• Technical background in production, mechanical fields or toolmaking with focus on process optimization.
• Experience with automated production tech (hot stamping, CNC, robotics, PLCs).
• Fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken).

Join Danfoss in Silkeborg and take ownership of a highly automated hot stamping production area at the heart of our valve manufacturing. Your work will directly influence the quality and reliability of products used by customers worldwide, including our iconic radiator thermostats and valves.

You will be the go-to engineer ensuring that our production equipment runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. By combining hands‑on problem solving with structured process improvements, you help secure stable operations and enable continuous growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and optimize hot stamping processes and equipment to ensure high reliability, safety, and product quality

• Strengthen quality processes using tools such as APQP, PFMEA, and control plans to ensure robust validation and documentation
• Implement new products and tooling to enable seamless integration into existing production setups

What We're Looking For

• A technical background (e.g., production, mechanical, marine engineering, or toolmaking) with a focus on process optimization
• Ability to combine engineering design with hands‑on execution and structured validation/documentation
• Experience with automated production technologies such as hot stamping/forging, CNC, robotics, PLCs, or similar
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset
• Fluency in Danish and English (written and spoken)
