Job summary

MT Højgaard Danmark seeks an experienced project planner to join the Tunnel team in Copenhagen, with offices near the city or on-site at major projects. You will structure the WBS, monitor progress, and coordinate resources to deliver high-quality infrastructure on time and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years in civil construction planning, proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project, strong IT skills, and excellent communication for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Structure the project scope by defining its WBS (Work Breakdown Structure).
• Provide progress updates and reporting in line with contractual requirements.
• Plan and implement project resources and generate S-curves and histograms.
• Update forecasts, analyze actual vs. planned progress, and investigate scenarios.
• Monitor and control resource use and project deliverables.
• Communicate with customers, subcontractors, and team members to maintain schedule.
• Prepare Early Warnings/Notifications or General Notifications for Time Impact.
• Prepare and submit Extension of Time and disruption materials to customers.
• Prepare and present decision-making material for Senior Project Management and Customer.
• Support improvement initiatives and development plans.

We are looking for an experienced project planner to join our Tunnel team and help us continue to deliver excellent results. You will be working at our office near Copenhagen or on-site at one of our major projects in Copenhagen.

The job

You will be part of a committed project team that delivers highquality projects and consists of experienced professionals who provide our customers with the best possible service.

• structure the project scope by defining its WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)
• provide progress updates and reporting in line with contractual requirements
• be responsible for planning and implementing project resources and generating relevant S-curves and histograms
• take charge of the updating of forecasts, scenario investigation and analysis of actual versus planned progress
• monitor and control the resource use and project deliverables
• proactively take part in direct communication with customers, subcontractors, and team members to support and maintain the overall schedule, analyze issues and determine specific mitigation plans needed to maintain project milestones
• input into Early Warnings Notifications or General Notifications to customers for Time Impact
• prepare material for Extension of Time, Disruption material required to be submit-ted to customer
• prepare and present decision‑making material for Senior Project Management and Customer
• support with improvement initiatives and development plans

Your profile

We are on the look‑out for a candidate who meets these requirements:

• You are comfortable handling projects in parallel and an everchanging environment
• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, construction management or a similar field
• You possess +5 years of experience in project planning civil construction projects
• You are proficient in working with Primavera P6 and MS Project
• You possess advanced IT skills and knowledge of MS Office tools i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint and 3D tools like Solibri
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills for co‑collaborating with colleagues and clients with various professional and international backgrounds
• You are fluent in the English language and willing to learn Danish
• You are flexible and willing to travel when required
