Job summary

Orifarm invites a skilled Project Manager to join the PMO in Odense to oversee the pipeline of own-/co-developed pharma products from early qualification to market launch.

You will build robust project plans, coordinate with Business Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain, and report on progress, risks and financials to management. Fluency in Danish and English is expected.

Qualifications

  • Requires a scientific degree in a pharmaceutical field and industry experience.
  • Independent, structured and proactive; strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English and Danish.

Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain and optimize project plans throughout the project lifetime.
  • Monitor progress and ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment across Business Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain and Sales.
  • Facilitate external alignment with development partners (CDO/CDMO).
  • Challenge core team members to optimize progression and time-to-market.
  • Ensure compliance with Stage Gate governance and reporting of status and risks.

Do you have a talent for project management combined with a commercial mindset and a good understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes? Then you might be our new Project Manager within the area of own-/co-development at Orifarm

About The Job

As Project Manager, you will become part of the Program Management Office (PMO). You will become responsible for managing the pipeline of own-/co-developed pharma products from early product qualification, through development and until market launch.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building, maintaining and optimizing a project plan throughout the project lifetime
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring tasks and deliverables are completed within deadline
  • Ensuring cross-functional alignment between internal stakeholders such as Business Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain and Sales
  • Facilitating external alignment with development partners (CDO/CDMO)
  • Challenging specialists within the core team in a constructive way to optimize the project progression and time-to-market
  • Ensuring compliance with our Stage Gate model and drive the project through the established governance
  • Creating transparency through reporting and communicating on project status, risks and financials in all levels of the organization, including regular reporting and escalation to management
  • Contributing to the continued development and optimization of the processes and tools
  • Ad hoc support with data processing and analysis
Who are you?

We are looking for a candidate with a commercial mindset and a solid understanding of pharmaceutical development. We imagine that you have a scientific degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedicine, or related disciplines. Preferably combined with relevant industry experience.

In addition, we envision that you bring:

  • An independent, structured and proactive personality with a can-do attitude
  • A team-oriented approach with a solid understanding of cross-functional dynamics and excellent communication skills in both speech and writing
  • A strong business-acumen and a dedication to successfully completing tasks
  • Great problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate and simplify complexity
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • A commercial mindset with a good understanding of financial key figures and strong analytical skills
  • An understanding of pharmaceutical development and/or manufacturing
  • Fluency in Danish and English in both writing and speech
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
