Job summary

Orifarm is seeking a Costing Manager to ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and cost transparency across the supply chain. You will provide financial insight and decision support to Operations and Finance, analyzing cost drivers and supporting profitability initiatives.

The role leads costing processes, maintains standard costing models, and budgets for COGS. You will partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement, while working with SAP and AX.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• At least 5 years in finance, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably regulated industries.
• Strong costing, inventory accounting and variance analysis expertise.
• Proficient with SAP or AX and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Drive transparency of COGS across the organization and supplier pricing.
• Maintain and improve standard costing models across sites and products.
• Lead yearly budgeting for COGS price updates.
• Support cross-functional projects to improve COGS.
• Be the finance partner for manufacturing, supply chain and procurement on costing topics.
• Support cost transparency for the CMO organization.
• Build knowledge in ERP systems SAP and AX.
• Communicate developments and outcomes to leadership.

About The Job

The role provides financial insight and decision support to Operations and Finance by analyzing cost drivers, monitoring manufacturing performance, and supporting strategic initiatives aimed at improving profitability and operational efficiency.

The position acts as the finance lead for costing related processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards while driving continuous improvement in cost management and reporting.

Cost Manager will be a part of Finance Department and will report to a Finance Business Partner. This role does not have any direct reports as of this moment.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Drive transparency and understanding of COGS across the Orifarm organization, including product costing and supplier pricing
• Maintain and improve standard costing models across manufacturing sites and product portfolios.
• Lead yearly budgeting processes for COGS price update.
• Support cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at improving COGS
• Act as the primary finance partner for manufacturing, supply chain, and procurement stakeholders on costing related topics.
• Support CMO organization bring transparency in cost prices
• Build knowledge in both our ERP systems (AX and SAP)
• Communication on development

Who are you?

You have:

• Master's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in finance roles, ideally within Supply Chain Manufacturing environment
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably within pharmaceutical, FMCG, medical device, or other regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, AX) and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong English skills to work in an international organization

Location

This position is open for candidates located in Warsaw (PL) area or Odense (DK) area.

Presence at the office 3x/week is required.

Business travels – 20-25 days per year are expected.
