Job summary

Emerson in Denmark seeks a Project Engineer focused on EPLAN and automation to deliver electrical design and project execution for marine applications. You will work at the intersection of electrical design, automation, software configuration, and customer delivery to enable safe and efficient vessel operations worldwide.

You will develop expertise in Emerson Aperio while collaborating with customers, sales, R&D, and project teams in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Experience creating electrical drawings and documentation using EPLAN.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering, automation, or industrial control systems.
• Exposure to PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial software, or automation technologies.
• Willingness to develop expertise in Emerson's Aperio platform and marine automation solutions.
• Ability to coordinate activities, communicate with customers, and work effectively across teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and project deliverables.
• A customer‑focused mindset and commitment to delivering high‑quality solutions.
• Fluent Danish and professional working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain electrical drawings and documentation using EPLAN.
• Configure and customize Emerson automation solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Support automation system implementation, PLC and SCADA improvements.
• Develop expertise in Emerson Aperio marine automation through training and hands-on work.
• Lead or coordinate customer projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring quality and schedule.
• Act as primary contact for customers and maintain proactive communication during projects.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, sales, operations and other stakeholders.
• Manage changes, clarifications, and documentation updates efficiently.
