Job summary

Emerson Process Management in Denmark seeks a Project Engineer specializing in EPLAN and automation to deliver electrical design and project execution for marine applications. You will work across design, configuration, and customer delivery to ensure quality outcomes.

You will configure Emerson automation solutions, lead customer projects from initiation to delivery, collaborating across sales, R&D and operations while developing expertise in the Aperio marine platform and visiting sites as

Qualifications

Experience creating electrical drawings and documentation with EPLAN.
Knowledge of electrical engineering, automation, or industrial control systems.
Exposure to PLCs, SCADA systems, industrial software, or automation technologies.
Willingness to develop expertise in Aperio marine automation.
Ability to coordinate activities and communicate across teams.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Customer-focused mindset delivering high-quality solutions.
Fluent Danish and professional English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain high-quality electrical drawings and documentation using EPLAN.
Configure and customize Emerson automation solutions to meet customer requirements.
Support implementation and improvement of automation systems, including PLC and SCADA.
Develop expertise in Emerson's Aperio marine automation platform through training and hands-on project involvement.
Lead or coordinate customer projects from initiation through final delivery, ensuring quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
Act as a primary point of contact for customers and maintain proactive communication throughout project execution.
Coordinate activities across engineering, sales, operations and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Manage project changes, technical clarifications, and documentation updates efficiently and accurately.
Prepare and deliver technical documentation packages and support successful customer handovers.
Participate in testing activities, FATs, customer meetings, and occasional site visits as needed.
Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a structured approach to planning, prioritization, and execution while balancing multiple project activities.
