HCA Airport, Odense, Denmark | Full-time | Aerospace & Unmanned Systems
Do you enjoy taking technical ownership—not just managing the plan, but helping turn requirements into working systems?
Thunderstrike Aviation is a fast-growing aerospace scale-up moving from early development and prototypes into testing, industrialisation and production. As our engineering organisation expands, we are looking for a Project Engineer who can help build both the UAV platforms and the practical engineering structures required to deliver them.
You will drive engineering development and integration activities across our UAV systems, working closely with specialists in mechanical engineering, electronics, embedded software, communications, testing, quality and production.
This is a hands‑on engineering role with project responsibility. You will contribute to technical solutions, resolve integration challenges, work directly with suppliers and help bring systems from requirements and prototypes through testing and operational readiness.
You will also have the opportunity to influence how engineering projects are executed as Thunderstrike scales. Planning and coordination are important, but they support the technical delivery rather than replace it.
You bring a solid engineering foundation and enjoy working across disciplines while remaining close to the technical detail.
You do not need to be the deepest specialist in every discipline. You do need to understand how the parts interact, ask the right technical questions and take responsibility for moving the work forward.
Experience with UAVs, aerospace, defence, robotics or other complex, compliance‑driven products would be valuable. Familiarity with requirements‑management tools such as Visure, aerospace frameworks such as STANAG and EASA, or operational approval processes such as SORA or DVP is an advantage.
