Job summary

Vestas Technology & Operations is seeking a Product Manager to strengthen product management discipline across the organization, building operating models, governance, roadmaps, and decision frameworks that connect strategy with execution and business outcomes. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in renewable energy, electric utilities, industrial manufacturing, management consulting, strategy, product management, portfolio management, or business performance management.
  • Experience developing business cases, investment evaluations, financial analysis, or strategic planning materials.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to transform data into actionable business insights.
  • Experience coordinating complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to structure information for senior leadership audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve the product management operating framework, including governance processes, performance reporting, planning cycles, and decision‑making structures
  • Coordinate the annual product planning process, ensuring alignment between market needs, business priorities, product roadmaps, and development activities
  • Develop andmaintainstandardized business case methodologies, templates, value frameworks, and supporting tools to enable consistent evaluation of investment opportunities and strategic initiatives
  • Drive visibility of product and portfolio performance through robust reporting, KPI tracking, and management insights that support senior leadership decision‑making
  • Facilitate the development and maintenance of market, product, and portfolio roadmaps, ensuring clear prioritization and alignment across key stakeholders

Acting as the voice of the customer within VTO and the voice of VTO towards customers, the function ensures that market needs, customer insights, and business priorities are translated into a compelling product vision and roadmap.It steers the product portfolio, investment decisions, budgets, and key cross‑functional initiatives to maximize value creation and long‑term performance. In essence, the Product Line function aligns the organization around clear priorities, enabling efficient execution, innovation, and sustainable growth while delivering superior customer value.

Additional information

The primary work location for this position is Aarhus (Denmark), Porto (Portugal) or Hamburg (Germany). Up to 60 days of travel per year.
