Job summary

Mascot International Ltd in Denmark seeks a Product Manager to own the workwear assortment within the Construction segment, translating customer needs and market insights into competitive, profitable products.

You will lead development projects from concept to launch, collaborating with Design, Product Development, Purchasing & Quality, Production, Marketing and Sales, and monitor performance to drive ongoing optimization.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in product management and product development within technical textiles or apparel – ideally workwear.
  • Experience with market and competitor analysis, benchmarking and product requirements.
  • Successfully managed product development projects from concept to launch.
  • Understanding of textile materials, functionality and technical product solutions.
  • Commercially minded and comfortable with pricing, margins and product performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration across functions and cultures.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitors and developments within workwear and PPE.
  • Identify product opportunities and assess their market and commercial potential.
  • Define product positioning, requirements, target pricing and expected profitability.
  • Prepare clear product briefs and drive development projects from concept to launch.
  • Work with Design and technical teams to balance functionality, quality, and market needs.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure progress and timely launches.
  • Build business cases and support commercial decisions for new products and collections.
  • Monitor sales, profitability, assortment performance and market feedback; take action.
  • Drive continuous product improvements based on customer feedback, quality data and sustainability considerations.
  • Develop and optimize the Construction assortment through improvements, additions and phase‑outs.
  • Provide clear product USPs and commercial input to Marketing and Sales.

Are you commercially driven, curious about market needs and passionate about turning insights into successful products? We are looking for a Product Manager to take commercial ownership of our workwear assortment within the Construction segment and help shape products that create real value for professional users.

Your role

As Product Manager, you will be the link between the market and our product development organization. You will translate customer needs, market insights and business strategy into competitive, relevant and profitable products.

You will take responsibility for development projects from initial decision through to launch, working closely with Design, Product Development, Purchasing & Quality, Production, Marketing and Sales. Once products are launched, you will follow their commercial performance and use market feedback and data to continuously optimize the assortment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing market trends, customer needs, competitors and new developments within workwear and PPE
  • Identifying product opportunities and assessing their market and commercial potential
  • Defining product positioning, requirements, target pricing and expected profitability
  • Preparing clear product briefs and driving development projects from concept to launch
  • Working closely with Design and technical teams to ensure the right balance between functionality, quality, fit and market needs
  • Coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders throughout the development process to ensure progress and timely launches
  • Building business cases and supporting commercial decisions for new products and collections
  • Monitoring sales, profitability, assortment performance and market feedback and turning insights into concrete actions
  • Driving continuous product improvements based on customer feedback, quality data and sustainability considerations
  • Developing and optimizing the Construction assortment through product improvements, additions and phase‑outs
  • Providing clear product USPs and commercial input to Marketing and Sales
