Job summary

Vipps MobilePay in Aarhus seeks an independent and pragmatic Product Designer to join our user-facing product team. You will own design of experiences used by millions and shape problems from payments to identity and everyday money movement.

You will work with product managers, engineers and researchers, build flows, prototypes, and scalable design systems, and travel to Oslo for collaboration when needed.

Qualifications

• Are highly independent and can navigate uncertainty with visual clarity.
• Are pragmatic, accepting engineering constraints and trade-offs with engineers.
• Have strong interaction design craft, shaping complex journeys into natural flows.
• Bring business-minded product judgement, aligning design with goals.
• Are curious about new tools, including AI or prototyping automation.
• Have a voice, speaking up with data and insight to steer decisions.
• Can work from Aarhus and travel to Oslo for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Map complex journeys and turn opportunities into clear, testable flows.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers and Data Analysts.
• Understand users and outcomes through research and data.
• Use AI, automation or code-assisted prototyping to speed learning.
• Design at scale with systems thinking and strong product judgement.
• Connect user needs to product and company goals, balancing trade-offs.
