Job summary

ALUNITED Denmark A/S is seeking a Process Engineer-Cold Forming to support running production and new projects for high-end automotive customers. You will collaborate with Production, Quality and Maintenance to optimize processes and drive cost efficiency.

The role requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering or Materials and 3+ years in manufacturing, with strong knowledge of aluminum alloys and automotive components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering technology or Material Engineering (or similar).
• 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience, ideally in cold forming.
• Knowledge of Automotive parts and aluminum alloys.
• Advanced English; German is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supports successful implementation of new projects and process changes with customer.
• Leads projects including cost and milestone control.
• Plans set-up and tear-down of production equipment.
• Obtains offers for equipment and parts to purchase.
• Collects and analyzes process data for problem solving and optimization.
• Provides floor support to troubleshoot process problems using CI and root-cause analysis.
• Develops, revises and documents manufacturing processes to meet cost, quality and safety goals.
• Implements customer product reviews by providing prototypes, tooling and equipment.
• Ensures safety procedures and balance between improvements, costs and environmental issues.

Your area of responsibility

You will be part of Engineering team, which supports both running production and new projects. You will have contact with Production, Quality and Maintenance colleagues.

Further responsibilities will be:

Supports the successful implementation of new projects, engineering and process changes, in agreement with customer, to ensure and improve quality and delivery of products, at lowest / best cost

Leads respective projects including cost and milestone control

Plans the set-up and tear-down of production equipment

Obtains offers for equipment and parts to purchase

Collects and analyzes process data by coordinating efforts of production and quality for effective problem solving and process optimization

Provides floor support to troubleshoot process problems using continuous improvement and root cause analysis techniques

Develops, revises and documents manufacturing processes to meet cost, quality, scrap, labor and safety goals

Implements customer product reviews by providing prototypes, tooling and equipment

Enforces and follows safety procedures,

Ensures proper balance between improvement actions, costs and environmental issues

Your profile

We see you with minimum bachelor's degree in Process Engineering technology or Material Engineering or with similar major

You have more than 3 years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing companies on cold forming or relevant

You have good knowledge of Automotive Parts and Aluminum Alloys

You have an advanced English level, spoken and written, German will be considered as advantage
