Stibo DX is seeking a Principal Project Manager to anchor the PMO and drive the SaaS Delivery Model across a global delivery team in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Atlanta, and Hamburg. You will own scope, economics, and customer relationships while guiding go-live activities and ongoing upgrades.

You will work with AI-enabled processes and mentoring to improve estimation, margins, and on-time deliveries, balancing credibility and delivery excellence.

Principal Project Manager: Lead the future of PMO and SaaS delivery in media

Stibo DX is searching for an experienced Principal Project Manager to anchor our PMO and to drive the SaaS Delivery Model our project managers have built together; the standard for how we take the world's leading media groups from signed agreement to a live newsroom while running upgrade and migration projects of your own.

This is the role

In this newly defined role you anchor how Stibo DX delivers. Your job is to keep the Delivery Model moving, make the processes stick and make every project better than the last. The rest of your time goes to projects where you own scope, economics and the customer relationship. How the balance falls shifts with the portfolio, when a go-live needs you, the go-live wins.

You will join our Project Management team with employees located in Aarhus, Atlanta, Copenhagen, or Hamburg. You work side by side with our Principal Project Manager for Estimation & Standardization, who brings a deep knowledge of our product while you bring the method and the seniority.

More specifically, you will:

• Drive the SaaS Delivery Model with the team: take release 1.0 into use, aligned with internal stakeholders and keep the model and its artefact library current


• Anchor the PMO: the project model and standards, improve the rhythm-of-the-business, status reporting and the forecast and capacity inputs the executive team relies on


• Lead the feedback loop: retrospectives after every go-live, lessons written into estimation defaults and playbooks, and the numbers that show it works – estimate accuracy, margin and on-time go-lives


• Deliver upgrade and migration projects for existing customers – scope, economics and steering committees included


• Work with our workflow consultants to keep customers on the standard product: show how existing workflows solve the need before a change request is written, and decide with Product when a customization is worth it

What you bring

We are searching for a hands‑on Principal who has built or run a delivery model or a PMO at a software vendor or implementation partner, knows that a model only works when the team owns it, understands how a services business makes money, and leads through credibility rather than hierarchy.

Moreover, you bring:

• 10+ years in IT or software project and programme management on the vendor side, including building or running a PMO or delivery model with a team that actually used it


• Commercial judgement: you have owned project budgets and change control, and you understand fixed price versus time and material, margin and billability


• Experience with SaaS onboarding or platform migrations, and comfort with technical scope such as integrations, data migration and cloud hosting


• An implementation background from ERP or CMS platforms is a plus: configuration before customization, and change management on the customer's side


• AI assistants already in your own project work – drafting, analysis, estimation – and a view on where they change the project manager's job


• Confidence in challenging the status quo while respecting what already works, a relevant certification (preferably PRINCE2), effortless English with Danish or German a plus, and willingness to travel around 10-20%

How we work with AI

We run project management with AI in the loop – and we deliver AI into newsrooms. Administrative tasks have increasingly been automated using AI, as well as the projects themselves are supported by AI-enabled processes. On the customer side you will take Cue Autopilot – storyline automation, semantic tagging, image analysis – into live newsrooms. We expect you to use AI assistants as a matter of course in your own work, to be honest about where they fall short, and to help us take the next step.
