We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Preservation Architect to join our team in Vejle Denmark As a Preservation Architect you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historically significant buildings and structures This includes conducting research developing restoration plans and overseeing the implementation of those plans The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural history and preservation techniques as well as excellent project management skills This position offers a salary of 1200$ with accommodation provided for non-local candidates Biometric passport is preferred but not required We welcome applications from all qualified individuals including women
As our Preservation Architect your main responsibilities will include conducting thorough research on historical buildings and structures in need of restoration or preservation You will then use this research to develop detailed restoration plans that adhere to preservation standards and guidelines This may involve collaborating with other architects engineers and conservation experts Once restoration plans are approved you will oversee the implementation process to ensure that all work is carried out according to the established guidelines This may involve managing contractors and construction workers as well as monitoring progress and providing regular status updates In addition to your technical responsibilities you will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all preservation projects including budgets timelines and any changes or challenges encountered during the process
To be successful in this role you should have a degree in Architecture or a related field and at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar position Familiarity with preservation laws and regulations is essential Excellent project management skills are also crucial for this role
