Job summary

Collen Construction in Copenhagen are seeking a Preconstruction Planner to support bid and early delivery functions. You will work within a high-performing preconstruction team on programmes for large-scale data centres, pharma facilities, power infrastructure, public works, and complex commercial projects.

The role requires strong teamwork, ability to lead planning workshops with internal and external stakeholders, and a solid grasp of construction phasing and tender documents.

Qualifications

• Experience extracting accurate bid information from multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to lead collaborative planning workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of construction phasing, access, resourcing, or commissioning logic.
• Ability to interpret drawings, method statements, or tender documents.

Responsibilities

• Produce a comprehensive bid programme for major projects.
• Support bid management with preconstruction input and planning data.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders during bid cycles.
• Assist in planning for large-scale projects across Europe and the region.

Collen are recruiting a Preconstruction Planner to support our bid and early delivery functions. You will work within a high-performing preconstruction team, contributing to programmes on large-scale data centres, pharma facilities, power infrastructure, public works, and complex commercial projects.

Key Requirements

Core Skill Set

• The ability to work as part of a team and extracting accurate, high-quality information from all bid stakeholders leading to the production of a comprehensive bid programme
• Appreciation of clients and their associated client drivers is beneficial
• Ability to lead collaborative planning workshops, with internal and external stakeholders.
• Solid grasp of construction phasing, access, resourcing, or commissioning logic
• Able to interpret drawings, method statements, or tender documents logically

Experience

• Knowledge of major construction projects, architectural and engineering drawings and document processes
• 2-5 years planning experience working on large scale construction projects
• Proficient in the use of Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject software

Education

• Bachelor’s degree level education equivalent to EQF Level 6 preferred, however other educational backgrounds will be considered

The role will be based in our Copenhagen Office in Høje Taastrup 2630, working within bid management, in the preconstruction department, supporting projects across the European region.
