Job summary

Ventula Consulting is seeking a Lead Solution Designer in Denmark to shape and own propositions for major cloud and managed infrastructure deals. You will translate complex client briefs into compelling, deliverable proposals and collaborate with commercial and operations colleagues to ensure offerings are credible and commercially sound.

The role is based in Copenhagen with 2-3 days per week in the office, requiring a technical degree and proven experience in large IT contracts, cloud

Qualifications

• A degree with a strong technical or scientific grounding.
• Experience designing technical propositions for large managed infrastructure or outsourced IT contracts.
• Hands-on experience assessing and pricing multi-year operational services deals.
• Broad understanding of hosting, platforms, application support, workplace and communication tools, with mainframe exposure a real plus.
• Deep familiarity with cloud in all its forms and architecture frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Setting the approach for the technical, operational and people aspects of each deal, and securing buy-in from pursuit and operations teams.

Lead Solution Designer – Denmark - Cloud Provider

Ventula Consulting is working with a global technology services organisation to hire a Lead Solution Designer in Denmark.

If you enjoy turning a demanding customer brief into a winning, deliverable proposition, this role puts you right at the heart of the organisation's largest cloud and managed infrastructure pursuits.

You will be the person who shapes and owns the proposition on major deals, from the earliest conversations to the final submission. You will work hand in hand with commercial and operational colleagues to make sure every deal is compelling to the client, realistic to run and commercially sound. Many pursuits span several service lines, so you will often be the one pulling the pieces together into a single coherent answer.

What you will be doing

What we are looking for

• A solid background designing technical propositions for large managed infrastructure or outsourced IT contracts
• Hands-on experience assessing and pricing multi-year operational services deals
• Broad understanding of hosting, platforms, application support, workplace and communication tools, with mainframe exposure a real plus
• Deep familiarity with cloud in all its forms, whether on-premise, hyperscaler or a mix of both, alongside recognised architecture frameworks
• Previous experience managing people and running a proposal design team
• A sharp eye for commercial, operational and technical risk
• Confidence explaining intricate ideas simply to clients and senior audiences, even with little notice
• An independent, organised approach, openness to iterative ways of working, and experience collaborating across borders
• Flexibility to travel, both within the region and further afield

This role is based in Copenhagen, with 2-3 days per week in centrally located office.

The role offers a salary between DKK 70,000 - DKK 80,000 per month.
