The Center for Glycocalyx Research at the University of Copenhagen invites applications for a part-time Postdoc position (2 years) to advance mass spectrometry‑based spatial proteomics for cancer diagnosis using FFPE material. The role combines experimental work with computational proteomics in a vibrant international setting.

The successful candidate will develop scalable workflows for plasma/EV analyses, lead spatial phosphoproteomics on FFPE biopsies, and integrate LMD with high‑throughput

Competenze

• PhD in Life Sciences or related field.
• Publications as first or co-author in spatial proteomics, phosphoproteomics, or plasma/EV proteomics.
• Experience analyzing large proteomics cohorts with QC and statistics.
• Strong MS-based proteomics expertise, esp. spatial‑proteomics of FFPE samples.
• Bioinformatics experience with large proteomics datasets and spatial data.
• Experience with DIA workflows and high-sensitivity strategies.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills; excellent English.

Mansioni

• Develop scalable workflows for plasma and extracellular vesicle analysis in large cohorts.
• Lead mass spectrometry‑based spatial phosphoproteomics on FFPE biopsy material.
• Establish micro‑FFPE sample prep and phosphopeptide enrichment for LMD in 384‑well format.
• Integrate whole‑slide imaging, LMD, and ultra‑sensitive nDIA‑MS on Orbitrap Astral Zoom.
• Generate quantitative spatial phosphoproteomics data for translational cancer research.
