Job summary

The Proteomics Research Infrastructure (PRI) at the University of Copenhagen seeks an experienced Proteomics Application Specialist to develop and operate advanced proteomics applications, with emphasis on clinical proteomics and single-cell workflows.

You will plan, perform, analyze, and document experiments, optimize workflows, and collaborate with researchers in an international setting, reporting to the PRI Director. English is the working language.

Qualifications

PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, proteomics, or related field.
Demonstrated expertise in LC-MS proteomics and related lab techniques.
Experience with proteomics sample preparation and large-scale cohorts.
Experience with automated liquid-handling platforms and lab automation.

Responsibilities

Plan, execute, analyze, and document experiments within PRI's proteomics service pipelines.
Support and further develop clinical proteomics and single-cell proteomics workflows.
Perform sample preparation for proteomics analyses, including large cohorts.
Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize automated sample preparation and liquid-handling platforms.
Operate and support LC-MS instrumentation and related proteomics technologies.
Perform proteomics data analysis and contribute to interpretation of results.
Maintain documentation using ELNs and project/sample management systems.
Contribute to development and standardization of lab workflows.
