Qualifications

  • PhD in science education, physics education, chemistry education, engineering education or related field.
  • Experience with mixed-methods research.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Co-create research-based learning materials and teaching modules around the digital twins with researchers and teachers.
  • Participate in design-based research cycles of design, testing, and refinement of the digital twins in actual educational settings.
  • Collect empirical data from course implementations through observations, interviews and questionnaires.
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative data on student learning, conceptual understanding and transfer.
  • Publish research results in high-quality international journals in collaboration with the ACCESS team.
  • Engage in local and cross-institutional project activities across DTU, UCPH, and ESS.
  • Teaching and dissemination activities amounting to about 20% of working time within teacher education and science education courses.
