Job summary

The Department of Affective Disorders (ADA) at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital-Psychiatry invites applications for a 3-year full-time Postdoc position in Affective Disorders, starting 1 March 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The project focuses on epidemiology and shared genetics of eating disorders and personality, using Danish registers and iPSYCH data.

You will conduct independent international-grade research, with some teaching in English, and supervision of juniors.

Qualifications

  • Education background at the PhD level in psychiatric epidemiology or psychiatric genetics.
  • Experience with Danish registers is strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.

Responsibilities

  • Independent research of high international quality, including publication.
  • Some teaching and supervision in English.
  • Contributions to attracting external funding.
  • Dissemination of findings to academic, clinical and patient groups.
  • Participation in development of the research unit and journal clubs.
