Job summary

DTU Construct invites applications for a Postdoc position focused on developing next-generation digital twins for offshore wind infrastructures. The role emphasizes model development, data-driven analysis, and collaboration with European partners.

The successful candidate will work on finite element modelling, data fusion, and reliability analyses, while contributing to teaching and supervision of MSc students within a dynamic research environment at DTU.

Qualifications

  • PhD in a relevant field is required.
  • Strong background in marine structures or related disciplines.
  • Experience with finite element analysis and data analytics is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and calibrate finite element models for offshore floating infrastructures.
  • Develop algorithms to fuse strain, vibration and environmental data into structural states.
  • Create data-driven surrogate models for reconstructed structural states.
  • Establish a structural reliability re-analysis framework for risk-informed decisions.
  • Contribute to research-based teaching and supervision of MSc students.
