Job summary

DTU Entrepreneurship at the Technical University of Denmark seeks a researcher to build a landmark database on university deep-tech startups and perform independent research that informs universities, policymakers and funders. You will develop a comprehensive dataset, validate data on firm development, ecosystem support and performance, and publish results that influence policy and practice.

Qualifications

• PhD in entrepreneurship, innovation studies, economics, management or related social science.
• Experience with quantitative data collection and analysis.
• Fluent in English; able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive database of university-based startups in Denmark and internationally.
• Collect and validate data on firm development, ecosystem support, funding and performance.
• Collaborate on research projects and academic papers for high-impact journals.
• Engage with stakeholders and communicate insights via reports and briefs.
• Lead on academic publications in collaboration with the research team.
• Help shape the long-term research agenda of the centre.
