Job summary

Resolute Bio seeks a dynamic Head of Platform R&D in Copenhagen to steer the wet-lab technology roadmap for the ResOne spatial proteomics platform. You will lead a growing team of scientists and research associates, combining hands-on science with strategic direction to deliver scalable workflows.

You will collaborate with Platform Operations, Software and ML teams to ensure features are scalable, validated, and production-ready, using AI tools where appropriate.

Qualifications

• PhD in proteomics, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years industrial experience in mass-spectrometry-based proteomics.
• Proven leadership of R&D teams with platform technology delivery.

Responsibilities

• Set the R&D priorities to improve sensitivity, throughput, and automation across the spatial proteomics workflow.
• Build and support the team through recruitment, mentoring, and rigorous experimental design.
• Develop new capabilities and evaluate readouts such as spatial phosphoproteomics.
• Shape the new lab by evaluating instruments and negotiating purchases.
• Bring advances into routine production with validated workflows and documentation.
• Plan the 12-month roadmap and manage budgets, capacity, and trade-offs with CSO and leadership.
