Job summary

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy A/S in Denmark is offering a Data Technician Apprentice role within our Platform Engineering team. You will build and maintain software platforms powering wind farms globally, and you will work on automating server provisioning, configurations, and delivery pipelines.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with enterprise platforms, automation, and modern IT operations, while contributing to renewable energy operations and a sustainable future.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux and Windows servers through projects or coursework.
• Familiarity with virtualization, automation, or networking concepts.
• Analytical mindset and structured approach to problem solving; eager to learn new tech.

Responsibilities

• Automate server provisioning and configuration using Ansible.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.
• Develop automation scripts in Python to enhance operations.
• Support and maintain VMware-based infrastructure for reliability and security.
• Collaborate with platform teams to integrate and automate software deliveries.
