Passionate Senior Site Reliability Engineer wanted for strong, supportive team
Design solutions that solve whole classes of problems rather than individual tasks. As a Senior SRE at Systematic, you keep the systems running that healthcare staff and patients depend on.
Would you like to shape the future of our infrastructure by designing scalable, elegant solutions that solve classes of problems rather than individual tasks? Join our skilled Site Reliability Engineering team where you’ll have the opportunity to think beyond the immediate fix and architect systems that transform how we operate at scale. Your work will keep healthcare solutions running for the clinicians and care staff who depend on them.
As a Senior SRE with a systems engineering mindset, you’ll work at the intersection of deep technical expertise and strategic thinking. You’ll identify patterns across our diverse infrastructure, from Kubernetes clusters to Azure VMs, and create unified solutions that eliminate entire categories of operational toil. This isn’t about fixing one deployment pipeline; it’s about building a framework that makes all deployments reliable. This isn’t about patching one vulnerability; it’s about architecting a security posture that scales across our organization.
You’ll have access to cutting‑edge technologies and the autonomy to innovate, with opportunities to work across multiple environments including our ao-admin Kubernetes cluster, Docker‑based deployments, Azure‑hosted infrastructure, and healthcare‑focused systems. When you are ready, you will join the SRE team’s on‑call rotation.
In short, you can look forward to:
You’ll join one of our two skilled SRE teams, each consisting of approximately 10 professionals working from our offices in Aarhus and Bucharest. Our teams operate with a DevOps philosophy and use a mix of Scrum and Kanban methodologies depending on the project needs.
We value engineers who can see the forest and the trees, who understand both the technical details and the broader patterns. You’ll work with colleagues who manage everything from Kubernetes clusters to Windows VMs, from Terraform modules to Prometheus monitoring, and you’ll help us find the common threads that allow us to operate more efficiently and reliably.
This is a role with significant room to manoeuvre and influence. You’ll have the opportunity to work with the newest technologies while solving real operational challenges that impact critical systems across multiple domains. Our healthcare solutions, such as Columna, support the continuum of care across hospitals, communities and private homes, so your work contributes directly to patient safety.
Our ideal candidate is someone who gets excited about patterns, who sees a specific problem and immediately starts thinking “what other problems does this represent?” You’re the engineer who, when asked to automate a deployment, designs a deployment framework. When asked to fix a monitoring gap, you create an observability strategy.
Our ideal candidate would have:
We value diverse backgrounds and encourage candidates who are passionate about systems thinking, infrastructure architecture, and solving problems at scale to apply, even if they do not meet every requirement perfectly!
