Job summary

DTU Space Ventures in Lyngby is seeking a part-time External Relations & Ecosystem Associate to support outreach, content creation, and event management, helping grow Denmark’s space ecosystem from the Lyngby campus. You will assist in connecting Danish startups and partners with the wider European space network.

The role offers 15 hours per week, with hands-on experience in external communications and ecosystem building within a collaborative DTU Space Ventures environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a relevant degree (communications, business, innovation management, marketing, engineering, or space-related field).
• Interest or experience in social media/content management.
• Strong relationship-building skills; comfortable reaching out and following up.
• Interest in technology scouting and mapping non-space challenges to space-derived solutions.
• Proactive, curious mindset.
• Fluency in English; Danish/Nordic ecosystem experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Digital Presence: plan, create, and manage content and strategy across social channels and the website.
• Networking & Events: plan and lead outreach activities end-to-end including workshops and conferences.
• Ecosystem Growth: build external relationships with clusters and companies nationally and internationally.
• Technology Scouting: research and assess potential technology transfers across sectors.
• Innovation & Ideation: generate new projects and collaborations with the center leader.
• Case Studies & Storytelling: develop case studies and content showing portfolio progress.
• Network Collaboration: represent Denmark within the ESA BIC/Technology Broker network.
