Job summary

DTU Space Ventures in Lyngby invites a curious student to join as a Student Assistant for External Relations & Ecosystem. You will help grow our network of startups, companies, and partners across Denmark and Europe while gaining hands-on experience in communications and outreach.

The role focuses on content management, event support, and connecting Danish innovators with the wider European space ecosystem, with flexible 15 hours per week alongside your studies.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student at a university, pursuing a relevant degree (communications, business, innovation management, marketing, engineering, or space-related).
• Interest or experience in social media/content management.
• Strong relationship-building skills; comfortable reaching out and following up.
• Interest in technology scouting and space-related opportunities.
• Proactive, curious mindset.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of Danish or Nordic ecosystems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Digital Presence: plan, create, and manage content and strategy across social media, other channels, and the website.
• Networking & Events: plan and lead outreach activities end-to-end (workshops, events, conferences).
• Ecosystem Growth: build relationships with clusters, companies, nationally and internationally.
• Technology Scouting: research and assess space-related tech transfers.
• Innovation & Ideation: generate new projects and collaborations for Denmark's space ecosystem.
• Case Studies & Storytelling: develop content showing portfolio companies' progress.
• Network Collaboration: represent Denmark within the ESA BIC/Technology Broker network.
