Job summary

Vattenfall’s Operational Control Centre in Esbjerg, Denmark is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of OCC Operators, ensuring safe, efficient and well‑coordinated wind‑farm operations across Europe. You will develop people, strengthen operations, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high availability while advancing the energy transition.

English proficiency and a background in operations or similar fields are important.

Qualifications

Experience leading or supporting operational teams.
Several years in operations, engineering, business management or related field.
Proven ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
Strong relationships and collaboration with stakeholders across disciplines.
Excellent communication and a genuine interest in supporting others to succeed.
Experience with procedures, process optimisation or operational governance is advantageous.
Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach a team of approximately 10 OCC Operators for safe, efficient and well‑coordinated operations.
Coordinating shift and resource planning to ensure operational efficiency while maintaining employee wellbeing.
Ensure compliance with procedures and safety requirements across all shifts.
Facilitate department meetings, encourage communication and knowledge sharing.
Support manager priorities and ad hoc operational matters.
