Job summary

Arla Foods is seeking an Operational Network Planner to oversee S&OE horizon, balancing production capacity, inventory, and service levels across markets. You will join a collaborative planning team supporting five production sites and connect customer demand with supply.

Based in Krusaa or Viby J with occasional cross-site collaboration; you will work across Supply Chain, Commercial and Production to drive end-to-end improvements and optimize the end-to-end supply chain.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience in supply chain planning, logistics or manufacturing, preferably S&OE or short-term planning horizons.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities with clear communication across functions.

Responsibilities

• Optimize supply chain performance through root cause analysis and data-driven decisions.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
• Conduct scenario planning to mitigate risks, reduce waste and assess demand impact.
• Escalate unresolved short-term imbalances to global/local S&OE forums and stakeholders.
• Lead proactive dialogue between Supply Chain and Commercial teams to solve issues.
• Identify and contribute to end-to-end optimization initiatives.

Working closely with Supply Chain, Commercial and Production, you will help connect customer demand with production and supply. The role can be based either in Krusaa or Viby J. To support close collaboration with the planning team and production sites, colleagues based in Viby J are expected to spend a minimum of one day per week in Krusaa.

How you will make an impact

As an Operational Network Planner, you will play a key role within the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) horizon, ensuring that we deliver excellent service levels to customers while balancing production capacity, inventory levels and waste reduction across markets and warehouses.

You will join a highly collaborative planning team consisting of 6 Site Schedulers, two Operational Network Planners and one Component Planner, supporting five production sites. Working closely with colleagues across Supply Chain, Commercial and Production, you will help drive operational decisions that create value across the end-to-end supply chain.

Your key responsibilities will include

• Optimizing supply chain performance through root cause analysis and data-driven decisions.
• Monitoring relevant KPIs and implementing corrective actions to achieve targets.
• Conducting scenario planning to mitigate availability risks, reduce waste, and assess the impact of demand fluctuations on finished goods.
• Escalating unresolved short-term imbalances to global or local S&OE executive forums and key stakeholders.
• Leading proactive dialogue between Supply Chain and Commercial teams to solve complex issues.
• Identifying and contributing to optimization initiatives from an end-to-end perspective.

We imagine you

• Hold a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree within Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Have experience within supply chain planning, logistics or manufacturing, preferably working within S&OE or short-term planning horizons.
• Are comfortable analysing data and using insights to support operational decisions.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders across different functions and organisational levels.
• Are curious, proactive and motivated by continuous improvement and optimisation.Are able to communicate effectively both in Danish and in English
