Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Traveling Service Technician to join our Offshore Service team. You will work with authorized technicians to maintain, repair and upgrade wind turbine components across our offshore fleet. The role requires a Marine Engineer or electrical/technical degree, at least 5 years of experience with electrical or mechanical systems, and fluent English.

Expect approx. 182 travel days per year on a 16/12 rotation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with electrical or mechanical systems, offshore or wind experience preferred.
• Marine Engineer, Electrician, or technical degree required.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and basic MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices in line with HSE requirements.
• Coordinate daily with Service Managers, Supervisors, and Project Managers.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems and diagnose faults.
• Record time and material usage in Vestas systems.
• Perform maintenance, repair and component exchanges on turbines.
