Job summary

Ramboll Energy in Denmark seeks a Structural Engineer to lead reassessment and lifetime extension projects for aging offshore platforms. You will perform FEED and detailed design, including input for 3D/2D drafting, with emphasis on high-quality, timely deliverables.

The role requires 2–10 years in offshore structural engineering, expertise in ROSAP/SACS/SESAM, and strong English communication. Danish skills are a plus; you will work in a collaborative, innovation-driven team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Structural and Civil engineering.
• Solid experience in structural steel design including static and dynamic engineering.
• 2-10 years of offshore structural engineer experience, preferably with jackets and riser systems.
• Experience with offshore standards (ISO, NORSOK, EuroCode, DNV).
• Experience with ROSAP, SACS and/or SESAM; ROSAP preferred.
• Strong Excel and MathCad skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reassessment and lifetime extension of aging offshore platforms.
• Conceptual, FEED and detailed design of offshore structures including input for 3D/2D drafting.
• Conceptual, FEED and detailed design of onshore process facilities including input for 3D/2D drafting.
• Advanced global analyses of full structural system (linear and non-linear) for ULS, FLS, ALS.
• Engage with clients and take responsibility for deliverables.
• Contribute to internal development to improve designs and reassessment methods.
