Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a New Product Development Project Manager in Kolding to drive strategic product development projects within the Hygienic Fluid Handling business. You will lead cross‑functional teams across engineering, product management, operations, sourcing, quality and commercial to deliver innovative products to market.

You will manage scope, timelines and budgets while sustaining strong stakeholder relationships in a complex, international matrix organization.

Qualifications

Proven experience managing complex product development or R&D projects in an industrial environment.
Strong stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and project execution skills.
Project Management Certification (e.g., Prince2, PMP, Scrum, Lean, Agile) is an advantage.
Technical background, preferably with engineering experience.
Experience working in large organizations and cross-functional teams.
Degree in Engineering, Business, or another relevant STEM field.
English language skills at a business level, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Lead large, complex New Product Development (NPD) projects with structured execution and clear ownership.
Foster collaboration across engineering, product management, operations, quality, sourcing and commercial teams.
Drive project planning, execution and follow-up aligned with business goals and customer needs.
Manage scope, timelines, budgets, resources, dependencies and risks for successful delivery.
Act as central point of contact for internal stakeholders within a multi‑national matrix organization.
Coordinate decision-making and steer committee meetings.
Prepare and maintain key project documentation and reporting.
Commit to continuous improvement of PM practices and governance.
