Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking an Electrically biased Field Service Engineer based in Aarhus to install, maintain, and optimise advanced mechatronic systems for customers across Denmark, the Nordics, and EMEA. You will diagnose issues, perform calibrations, and provide hands-on training to operators.

You will travel extensively, collaborate with R&D and engineering teams, and contribute to high-impact installations and upgrades in a global food processing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Professional experience in field service, industrial automation, robotics, or complex manufacturing environments.
• Fluent English; Danish or other Nordic language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service, maintain and repair activities at customer sites across the Nordics.
• Troubleshoot complex mechatronic systems including mechanical, electrical, PLCs, and automation software.
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and diagnostics to maximise uptime.
• Provide expert operational, maintenance, and technical guidance to customers.
