Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking multiple Mechanical Design Engineers with 4-5 years of data centre design experience to support mission-critical projects across the Nordics. The role offers hybrid working with one week per month in Nordic offices and opportunities to work on hyperscale data centre systems.

You will design mechanical systems, optimise HVAC and cooling solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable, sustainable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 4-5 years of data centre mechanical design experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, chilled water, and mission-critical infrastructure.
• Experience optimising designs and delivering engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver mechanical systems for hyperscale and colocation data centres.
• Develop and optimise HVAC, cooling, and chilled water solutions.
• Improve design strategies to enhance performance, reliability, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders.
• Review technical designs and provide subject matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
