Job summary

Dematic in the Nordics is seeking a Senior Project Manager who acts as the CEO of the project, fully accountable for success, quality, and strategic impact from concept to completion.

You will lead large-scale, technically sophisticated automation programmes, align customer expectations with contractual commitments, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive project management experience.
• Proven success delivering large‑scale, complex, cross‑functional projects with strategic impact.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence without authority.
• Experience managing budgets, risks, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies.
• PMP certification highly desirable.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 80% annually) to customer sites and meetings in the region.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Integration: Lead initiation, planning, and execution of complex automation projects in the Nordics.
• Schedule & Resource Management: Lead teams, develop resource plans, monitor progress, and protect schedule and budget.
• Stakeholder & Communication Management: Build trust-based relationships, develop communication plans, provide updates.
• Contract & Vendor Management: Support negotiation of vendor contracts, oversee performance and changes.
• Financial & Risk Management: Develop budgets, track costs, assess risks, and implement corrective actions.
