Job summary

Allianz is seeking a Senior Underwriter for Construction & Natural Resources in the Nordics, based in Copenhagen or Stockholm. You will lead underwriting efforts, build broker networks and shape the local proposition while partnering with cross-functional teams.

You will apply strong analytical, negotiation and relationship skills to drive profitable growth across Nordic markets with a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Risk Management, Insurance or related discipline.
• Significant underwriting experience in Construction and/or Natural Resources for large corporate clients.
• Strong technical underwriting skills and experience assessing complex risks.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of Construction and Natural Resources risks following underwriting guidelines.
• Evaluate complex projects, determine pricing, terms, conditions and coverage structures.
• Develop broker and client relationships across the Nordic region.
• Identify new business opportunities while maintaining disciplined underwriting standards.
• Monitor portfolio performance, market trends and emerging risks.
• Collaborate with Risk Consulting, Claims, Multinational and Distribution teams to provide solutions.
• Support strategic initiatives to strengthen Allianz Commercial's position.
