Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Global Public Affairs Intern in Copenhagen to analyze how politics, regulation and geopolitics shape one of the world’s leading integrated logistics companies. You will work with the Europe team, focusing on the Nordic region, and engage with governments and industry bodies.

Qualifications

• Structured and detail-oriented student pursuing a master's or final-year bachelor's in political science, economics, business, or related field.
• Ability to turn political and business issues into clear analysis and written material.
• Fluent in English; professional Danish or Swedish is a plus.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse political and legislative developments in the EU, Denmark, Sweden and the Nordic region for Maersk.
• Prepare briefs and background material for senior executives ahead of meetings with ministers and officials.
• Conduct desk research on topics like societal security, critical infrastructure, supply chain resilience and trade policy.
• Contribute to policy positions and consultation responses.
• Support planning of stakeholder meetings, delegation visits, seminars and other external engagements.
• Deliver a defined project from start to finish during the internship.

Education

Master's degree in political science, economics, business or related field

Final year of Bachelor's degree in Denmark (Copenhagen area)
