Maersk is seeking an Intern in Global Public Affairs at our Copenhagen headquarters. You will explore how politics, policy, and sustainability intersect with international trade and decarbonization, supporting senior leaders and engaging at global forums.

The role is full-time (37 hours/week) from February to July, with flexibility for university credit transfer. Fluency in English and strong PowerPoint/Excel skills are essential.

• Pursuing a master’s degree or final-year bachelor’s in a relevant field.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a clear, structured, and organised manner, with strong attention to detail.
• Engaging in rigorous desk research and analysis to inform our strategic decisions and policy advocacy across the business.
• Develop and implement comprehensive engagement strategies for our top leadership to enhance the company’s presence at key global forums such as the UN Climate Change Conferences (COPs), World Economic Forum (WEF) meetings, and regional Climate Weeks.
• Oversee the planning and execution of high-level political visits to Maersk’s headquarters, including coordinating logistics, setting agendas, and briefing senior management.
• Conducting deep-dive analyses into how global political shifts and legislative changes are reshaping the landscape of international trade and affecting Maersk’s strategic direction.
• Crafting compelling positions, deepening our strategic frameworks, and supporting engagement plans on a range of political topics.
• Supporting on ad hoc tasks with the potential to embark on special projects with the autonomy to steer your own course, making tangible impacts on our global strategy.
