Job summary

UNFPA Nordic Office seeks a communications professional to advance visibility and partnerships across the Nordic region. You will craft articles, briefings, newsletters, and presentations while strengthening media relations and advocacy efforts for UNFPA in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.

The role emphasizes creative data storytelling, event organization, and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations of the Nordic Office.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant work experience in communication, media or journalism.
• Knowledge of Google, Canva and mainstream communications platforms is required.
• Master's degree may compensate for two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft and pitch articles for Nordic news outlets on UNFPA mandates.
• Collect and analyze data for background papers and briefing notes.
• Prepare newsletters and presentations on UNFPA mandates.
• Manage and strengthen social media accounts.
• Develop and execute advocacy events and campaigns in the Nordic countries.
• Coordinate Nordic Internship program in UNFPA country offices.
