Job Overview
Join Satair’s global network team as a Network Infrastructure Engineer based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The role focuses on maintaining and modernising the company’s global network, comprised of Cisco ecosystem, NAC, Checkpoint firewalls, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and CATO SASE solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimise the global network infrastructure, including Cisco, NAC, Checkpoint firewalls, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and CATO solutions.
- Create and update network documentation.
- Coordinate with network support vendors for troubleshooting and support.
- Handle daily Service Requests via the IT Service Management tool.
- Contribute to ongoing projects such as Cisco Meraki transition, integration with acquired US company, FWaaS migration, Zero Trust implementation, security posture enhancement and SAP datacenter transition.
- Participate in the planning and execution phases of infrastructure projects to support Satair’s growth.
- Support 24/7 operations, including scheduled on‑call duty approximately every 5th week.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar IT infrastructure role.
- Deep knowledge of Cisco network ecosystem (Meraki experience is a plus).
- Hands‑on experience with firewall technologies (Checkpoint preferred).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Relevant IT education (IT Technician/Engineer) or bachelor’s degree.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework; ITIL V4 Foundation certification preferred.
- Experience working with ITSM systems.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken).
- Strong technical writing skills with attention to detail.
- Valid references that attest to technical and professional competencies.
