Job summary

Satair in Copenhagen, Denmark, is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and modernise a global network based on Cisco, NAC, Checkpoint firewalls, VPN, Wi‑Fi and CATO SASE. You will operate, document and improve the core network while coordinating with vendors and supporting 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in an IT infrastructure role.
• Knowledge of Cisco ecosystem; Meraki a plus.
• Hands-on firewall experience (Checkpoint preferred).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Relevant IT education or bachelor’s degree.
• ITIL framework knowledge; ITIL v4 Foundation preferred.
• Experience with ITSM systems.
• Fluent English (written & spoken).
• Strong technical writing and attention to detail.
• Valid references available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize the global network infrastructure (Cisco, NAC, Checkpoint, VPN, Wi-Fi, CATO).
• Create and update network documentation.
• Coordinate with network support vendors for troubleshooting.
• Handle daily Service Requests via ITSM tool.
• Contribute to projects like Cisco Meraki transition and FWaaS migration.
• Support infrastructure projects to enable growth.
• Participate in on-call duty approximately every 5th week.
